bought 24lb SVO injectors, what FP at the rail should I have?

I hear our stock 24s are 43.5 at the rail, when I install my SVO injectors what pressure should I have the SVO's set to? Thanks!

43.5 to 45 psi I think.

I heard that even though the SVO's are 24lbs they flow better then the stockers so they don't neet the 43.5 fuel pressure required for the stockers. A buddy of mine said he thought the SVO's needed 36 pounds at the rail but wasnt sure.

If the 24lb SVO's flow better then the stockers then using the stock fuel pressure would be too high of a fuel pressure for these injectors right? Then ill need to know the correct FP.

They're rated at 39, LOL! You can turn the pressure down just a little, or program a slightly higher constant into the tune.

SVOs are rated at 39.15psi. They will flow about 5% more at 43.5. The PCM can compensate for that.

And make sure you are measuring the rail pressure with the vacuum compensation line removed from the FPR.

A point of reference... the stock 24's are programmed as 24.9#/HR. A 24# SVO, adjusted for the difference in fuel pressure would flow 25.3#/HR. The difference isn't worth worrying about.
