Borla sound? how to generate it?

my friend wants to put a Borla cat back for his 94 M6 Z28 but he can't afford it. what is required for a fabricated exhaust system to have the sound as the adjustable Borla cat back for 93-97 LT1 Z28's?

i think the sound of the Borla is because of the exhaust tips NOT the muffler, isn't that right?

how to fabricate exhaust tips the will sound like a Borla? what about the muffler? thanks.

DAMN! You really are from Kuwait, that's quite a place to have a Z... none the less, you can get Borla tips from Borla, but that's not really what makes the sound, its the muffler which really dictates the sound, tips aren't that much of a determining factor.

I would order a borla muffler, or even a dynomax muffler and some borla tips.

Hope this helps.
