I got my spiral flow muffler put in today to my Borla (no cats) I pipe. It sounds 100 times better, can't even describe how happy I am. NO MORE RASP, cackling, popping that I had before. Just deep tone, it sounds almost identical to true duals. This is the best 60 bucks I've spent on my car in a long time, I'd recommend it to anyone. I can make a vid, if there's somewhere to host it, tell me.

 

sounds better with no plate or sounds better thru the Borla muffler

i have thought about that muffler on my Loudmouth, maybe you just made the decision for me

 

It sounds great either way, I have the DMH electric cutout so I did close it, but I like it best open because it has more volume. If I had to describe the sound, I'd say the wide open plate tone is similar to when it is going through the borla muffler (closed plate) but much louder. It's very clean sounding and deep. I will try and get a vid made asap.

You know ... I used to say... yeah Borla blah blah... now I say best thing is HEaders running through a Borla's split pipe... - the muffler. ... funny still rattles...
