boom feels like i hit a wall
last year a few times when i was doing on off acceleration like hard breaking abck into accelerating i notice once in a while the car would just stop like it hit a wall...the SES light would come on as soon as i let of the gas adn hit it again the light would go off and car would go like normal.....
sommeone else had poted about the same inncedent ands only responses he got were looose sparkplugs and a battery cable touching part of teh body/engine cutting the car out
anybody have any input on this...car only did it once or twice and havent done it since b4 i put it away....i wann get my car back on the road soon and if it happens again i wanna be prepared

it only happened twice over a few months so when i do my headers and plugs ill c what happens....
i could be leaning toward the battery cable.....i do have a bigger bolt or the batter for my power wire for my beats
anybody else have a clue or idea or hypothesis??
trying to gget as many ideas just in case it happens again

interesting good thought there ....i wpuldnt have thought about that.....i like ot always have about half or more in the tank but sometimes i dont realize im low.....

Does it only happen when you hit the brakes hard? How about cornering hard?
Fill the car up with gas and take it for a good spin. Hit the brakes hard and turn some good corners. If it doesn't do it you probably have something wrong with the fuel system when it gets kind of low.

But it really sounds like a fuel delivery problem, especially when it only happens taking off hard or cornering. I've never changed a fuel pump, but it sounds like a PITA. I'm sure someone will chime in with another response sometime, and I could be dead wrong. Anyway, good luck. I'm going to go to bed now, but I'll keep an eye out on this thread to see how things work out. Thread
