Bolt in VS. weld in SFC
I haven't heard of too many people with Bolt on's. To me the weld on SFC's are the only way to go.
It would probably cost $100 for welding.
I have a lift and welder available to me so it was free for me.

Pros:
Bolt on can be taken off. Don't have to pay to get welded on.
Weld on are stronger. Don't come loose. I believe they are a little cheaper to buy also.
Cons:
Bolt ons can come loose, not as strong.
Basically unless you think your gonna want to take them off your better off going with the weld on. That way you don't have to worry about them comeing loose. They are also stronger. I paid about $175 to get mine welded on. That is pretty high. But almost everybody i called said they coudn't do it because there insurance policy don't allow them to mess with the frame. The only 2 people that could charged about the same. So went with the people that sounded like they new what they were doing.

I was charged $15 from a fellow F-bud, I think I paid him $25 though.
I helped some though. Now I have my own mig.
I agree.

I went weld on in my 97taws6.I sold the car and lost my subframe connectors.I went weld on again in my 99 taws6 but never selling it.I bought bolt ons for my 80ta and might weld them in later.I was thinking of bolt ons for the wifes car but might still get weld ons planning in keeping that car forever too and most bolt ons seems to be very expensive due to extra machining I guess. If you do bolt on you can at leat locktite and lockwasher them and that should help a bit.At least they shouldn't come loose and any subrames are better than nothing. And never really seen bolt on ones elongate the bolt holes.
i have bolt on sfc's, but only cause i got them for free. I also own a mig welder, so soon they will be weld ons, lol. I agree, weld them on, hell, add a few braces while your at it, couldnt hurt. just my.02 Prorac1
