bolt in side of transmission

I need to know PN or a size for the bolt that bolts the rear of a T56 to the beam that connects to the rear end. PLEEEASE! I am stranded in rural NC.

Do you mean the clam shell bracket that holds the front torque arm bushing?
There are two bolts in it:
GM PART # 11500930 M10 x 1.5 x 30 short bolt
GM PART # 14088953 M10 x 1.5 x 115 long bolt
GM PART # 10255857 if you need any nuts M10 x 1.5
GM PART # 11500046 for one washer that goes under the head of the short bolt.

i am pretty sure we are talking about the same thing. But i only see one hole for a bolt. I called a GM dealership and got a PN 11516186. Make sense? I am about to head to the closest Chevy dealership with it in stock (50 miles away)...

I see that listed for an auto, not a manual.

I don't know which one it is. There is a short one on the top (hard to get to) and a long one on the bottom. Use the dimensions above and get both from a hardware or auto parts store.

Yall aren't going to beleive this...

I was at a last dire need. I got out of the show my cousin was in at 8 (the whole reason I was in brevard, nc in the first place) and we were on our way to Advanced Auto. CLOSED. then to Autozone. CLOSED.

Weary and tired from all the BS of the day and getting the wrong bolt... We went to Wal-Mart the only thing open this "LATE" mind you its about 8:15. I went to the bolt aisle and got the ONLY bolt in the WHOLE store that had a bigger diameter than the one that I had in my pocket.

I had to buy a flashlight too so I could work on the car. Well, after the Trek back to the college, I got under the car, used the new flashlight, a cheap cheap wrench, and got the SOB back in there. The WALMART bolt fit! I was soooooooooo D AMN happy. It was a releif. Needless to say I got my **** together and got home....

Sorry for the long story, but I had to tell it... Thanks for you guys's help...

LT1 is still for sale! You don't want a Vert do you Marshall?

Oh my God. They got about 3 times as much snow as we did here in Charlotte up in Brevard. I think my buddy would have let me leave my RO there, and take his GTP though, so that woulda been okay

Just an off topic question. In the website, how come the Red "SS" has a Z28 hood? Is it yours?

Yea I know about that snow up there! You should have seen it over Chirstmas break! I was making a trip to Boone in that snow storm. But this one.....wow. Its still snowin here in Indian Trial.

It isnt an SS or a Z28. It is a V6 w/ LT1 swap and crap, the guy originally told me it was from an SS. I didnt know much about the cars at the time or anything... so I just started calling it an SS. It has no badges at all though, so its just a slow V6
