Question Bolt-on lt1 times?

I'm tryin to figure out what is the record for the fastest N/A,Stock heads, cam, intake, bore and stroke, full weight and A4 car is as it is my goal to set a new record.Right now i'm running a 97 WS6 Trans Am A4 with k&n filter, granitteli maf,tb bypass,52mm tb,pacesetter headers and y-pipe,flowmaster catback with cut out,Umi lca's and panhard bar,Hotparts.com DD subframe connectors, urathane tranny and motor mounts,TCI 3500 stall, tune from Madz28,lt4 km and nitto 555 dr's.My best time so far is 13.1055 @101.47 with a 1.78 60ft.My best 60ft so far is a 1.71.I know the mph seems low during this and many runs i had an high rpm miss that started around 4800 rpm.If you know the current record then please tell me as i'm shooting for high 12's this weekend i'd like to see how close i am to it or how far away.Considering that when i got the car it only ran 14.38 @97.89 with a crap 60ft of 2.18 i think i'm doin alright oh and it has 145000 miles.

11.9@113 IIRC, might be wrong though. It was an M6 car.

Re: Bolt-on lt1 times?

See my sig for my best time and mph. No torque converter or shift kit yet, but that should put me in the mid to high 12's for sure. All bolt ons, if you consider 3.73 gears a bolt on. It is an A4.

Only weight reduction is no spare tire. Car runs consistent 13.0 - 13.1 all day.

Re: Bolt-on lt1 times?

Just a tip, you cant just make up another class, Full bolt-on's, full weight, with a gay 200lb driver, is not going to fly.

A4 bolt-on record is
tekprodave- 11.891 @ 114.2
317hp/341tq
Race Weight- 3050

M6 bolt-on record is
Shon Herror-
1.57 60' 11.80 @113
??hp/??tq
Race Weight- 3025

roadtrip120-
1.76 60' 12.29 @112.1
327hp/350tq
Race Weight -3275

If you guys are full weight, you are .6-.8 off the pace. If you dont have full bolt-on's pushing over 315hp you are off the pace. And if you arn't pulling 1.5X sixty foots , you are way off the pace. As you can tell from my times to Shon's , hp, weight, and 60' is what makes a bolt-on car. DONT start a new class full weight ****, run with in the guide lines of the bolt-on class if you are going to run bolt-on's.

Re: Bolt-on lt1 times?

I hope that you don't think that I was trying to make up a new "full weight" class or anything like that. Just showing what I have and how the car runs.

A while back they did have a class that was for bolt ons, w/DOT tires and no weight reduction. Musclecar Nationals used to have it. We're talking late
80's here. Anyway, I like to see what a car that is full weight and has bolt ons runs. Just a personal preference. There is a thread on here with a lot of guy's times that fit this description.

BTW, nice 60ft w/1.5. Must feel like your head gets snapped off when the car launches.

Re: Bolt-on lt1 times?

Not to flame here or anything but isn't this like trying to be the smartest kid with Down's syndrome (sp?)? I don't think it really matters. The 03/04 CObra guys are bad for this. Fastest non-ported, non pullied Eaton, then there's the fastest pulley only car, then the fastest ported Eaton and pulley car, then there's.......................................
