bolt on lt1
Hello im one of the newer members here so id like to start by saying hello! im from Ohio and i have a 94 z28 with a M6.. i have been putting some time in on it and i was wondering if anyone out there that may have the same set up and if they could tell me how much HP i could expect.. so like i said its a 94 lt1 with a M6 tranny and im in the process doing the following bolt ons ... lt4 hot cam, Longtube headers and 3" y pipe, CAI, 58mm bbk throttle body, ported lt4 intake, electric water pump, ported maf, polished jegs intake elbow, underdrive pully, all new opti spark with colder ngk plugs, 255 fuel pump, 150 shot of nitrous, and a 3:73 gear ...and of coarse et street drag radials
Re: bolt on lt1
Welcome to the board.
The hotcam it is outdated there are other cams out there that would suit you better with stock heads the cc503 being a good example. I would save the money and stick with the stock throttle body as you won't need it at your power level and I wouldn't bother with the underdrive pulleys.

Re: bolt on lt1
LT4 intake is NOT an upgrade, and in machining off the additional material above the runners(to clear the LT1 VC rail) you ruin any potential value it might have had.
Few have found it worthwhile to "port" an intake with stock heads unless you just mean opened up for the 58mm TB which you wont see much advantage from anyway because a HOT cam only motor wont move much air.
Underdrive pulleys are pretty much a waste since the waterpump is not belt driven, completely pulling the belt is worth .1 so it stands to reason a 30% underdrive is worth .03 and with the additional charging system load of the electric WP it could even be a negative, the raised idle for the HOT cam MIGHT offset that though.
Porting a MAF accomplishes little beyond ruining it's calibration and greatly complicating tuning.
With an M6 3.73s are a poor choice with the double OD 4.10s are a much better choice.
You would be FAR better served if you asked questions BEFORE deciding to buy a lot of the wrong parts.
Not the answer you wanted but my signature says I might have a clue.
My advise is stop buying parts and start doing meaningful research as opposed to whatever research lead to that list of mods.
Ask questions BEFORE making a plan and try to evaluate who you listen too.
