hey guys after i drive my car for an hour or so the temp guage soes pretty close to red lining i mean it is stop and go traffic so that could be it, and then when i park it back at home and walk by the front of the car i hear a boiling sound, so i popped the hood and it sounded like it was near the battery and i doubt it is the battery so do you have any ideas?

 

Boiling in in the reservoir... Check thermostat, radiator cap, air in system....
