BMR Xtreme Drag Race Sway Bar

Is this 100% bolt on or do I have to have something welded on? I already ordered it, just want to know what I'm getting myself into.

Thanks,
Jason

The mounts need to be welded to the rear end, unless there is something that I'm missing. There are several "drag" sway bars that are like this, I assume for strength. Could also be for aftermarket rears where the stock u-bolts don't work, I dunno.

The mounts for the endlinks to the body also have to be welded.

Ok this is what I thought I saw in the picture. Just another thing I have to have welded on the car lol. Oh well, at least the suspension should be fairly solid in the back.

Does this kind/size of swaybar help thaaaaaat much at the track over a standard 21/22mm rear bar? It looks like a nice sway bar, but I don't want street drivability to be compromised as well. Wouldn't it compromise the handling ability by disrupting the balance from front to back and make way too much understeer?

Stay away from this kind of bar if you care about handling. A really big bar like this typically makes the car subject to oversteer.
