BMR Trak Pak Torque Arm....Check this check out what i broke.

Ok i was just playing around on a backroad yesterday and i came around a corner and floored it. Droped down to first and then hit secound.....and BOOM! Sound like i threw the driveshaft. Well let off and didn't hear anything so gave it a little gas, car kept going no noise. OK wierd. Good thing i was right in front of my house. Well i put home and apon futher inspection. I find that the drive shaft has nice dent and grove in it. So i look at the torque arm. Well i find that i broke the top rod eye end on the torque arm. Letting the rear end rotate up when i accel. Great. Took it off and it looked to be broke for a while, then finally broke yesterday. Wish i had a camera to show you guys. Going to local parts stores in the morning. Sorry but i just have to vent and see if anyone else has broke this same part on there torque arm.
Later Brad

Yea, I have heard complaints about the basic Torque Arm made by BMR. They claim it is only durable for cars that run above "11s" but i personally think it's weaker than that.

My recommendations would be to spend the extra money and buy their XTREME Torque Arm, which is a lot higher quality, as well as stiffer and more durabele.

Sorry about your misfortune. How long have u had the Torque Arm? I would give BMR's customer service a call and explain what happens. They are a pretty good company, see what they can do for u.
