I just welded on some BMR tubulars on the ole' convertible. Made a huge difference! Feels like an entirely different car. I don't know if they'll make that big of a difference on a hardtop or t-top car, but on the convertible it was unmistakeable.

I have tubular BMRs

THey are nice low priced pieces. Lighter so they dont slow me down as much while still tieing the car togther.

Double diamon's are more costly, heavier and will make the car more rigid. They dont give as much clearance.

I relaly didnt see the need for double diamonds.
The cons outweighed the pros for me..

Both are still good pieces but u have to see what u want and whats important to you.

BMR recently revised their boxed SFC design to improve ground clearance.

I love the boxed set I have. No more rattles and picks that frontend straight up. Feels so much more solid.

I have Double Diamond subframes and a BMR TA.
Both products are high quality and I would reccomend either company.
DDs are the best for stiffening up your ride but can be a pain when installing things like a true dual setup, the problem I am having now.
The BMRs would be great for a street driver that sees the strip every once in awhile.
The DDs as far as I am concerned are actually hardcore racing pieces.

I'm very happy with my BMR subframe connectors. Like said above, I heard that double diamond were more for hardcore racers or autocrossing.

I have the boxed BMRs and they are a fine product. I would prefer the DD type, though. More ground clearance and I would expect them to be better at stiffening the chassis.
