BMR or SLP SFCs

what would be a better deal...BMR SFCs can be customized to your likeing like color cost less but r supposedly not as rigid as SLP Diamond shaped SFCs which are more riggid but cost more......for me a person who goes to the drag stip not very often but likes to drive his car hard on the street and keep styling....would the extra cost for the SLP ones be worth it ???

From what I understand if you go with DD's you can't get LT's or anything like that cause they won't fit. I think BMR's are plenty strong enough even though DD's are stronger. They just don't leave much room for anything else under there. If you see longtubes in your future I wouldn't get them.

Go with BMR boxed and you'll be set.

I agree the hugger orange would look good. Good choice in parts and color. You'll be pleased with them.

Dude it totally depends on what your goal with the car is... If your going to drag race then go with some BMR boxed subframes.. If your all about the handling and twisties, then go with the diamond style sub frames and they will be more rigid.

But for drag racing, BMR Boxed Sub Frames are hands down the nicest I have ever seen

Who told you that?
there's plenty of room or LTs, true duals would be tight. but still not out of reach for a good shop.

Read this thread I had about a week ago. A couple of people who posted said that. After looking at some pictures of them on cars I can see why it would be tight. I don't have personal experience with this though.

I have BMR tubulars. They work well enough for me, although boxed would be better but they hang lower.

might just be the Y pipe.
But the headers dont come out far enough to be even with the most forward part of the SLP DDSFC's.
I'll have pics of the SLP and Hooker LTs in a week or so.

thanks guys...BMR is the way im going....i like to drag at the track but dont do much of it...i get most of my thrills out of street light racing lol.....i mean cummon if someone challenges u to a race no matter what he has r u gonna turn him down..i wouldnt lol....i plan on keeping my car for along time and i already notice a little bit of twisting of the frame(t-tops)....but thhe debate over whether long tubes can fit...should be argued only with hard evidence lol....thanks guys i appreciate ur opinions and help

I also like my tubulars.

If you get boxed ones in hugger orange, you will see them all the time from the side of the car.

Yup I like that too. That was the reason for my post I put a link to earlier. To find out which ones you could see from the side. It's the boxed.
