Can anybody tell me what the effects would be on an engine that has had a blown head gasket after it has been repaired? Need help pinpointing an internal engine tick!

 

They had to take the head off and redo the valve adjustments, etc., so maybe it's that or an exhaust leak. If it was something serious with the rotating assy, then it would be more of a knocking sound, and a blown head gasket shouldn't cause that unless the antifreeze got into the crankcase and they drove it that way for a while and ruined the bearings.

 

head gaskets have been repaired and rocker arms are adjusted i have replace stock exhaust maniholds with headers still ticking and its definately not a knock idk but it is about to drive me nuts. no loss of performance at all!!
