About a month ago, I blew my dipstick out of the tube and sprayed oil all over that side of the motor. The only thing wrong I could notice was that some of the vacuum hoses were kind of rotten and could use replacing. I replaced the hose that runs from the back/top of the passenger side valve cover to the side of the throttle body, and also the U shaped hose that runs from the PCV valve back to the intake. The PCV valve rattled when i shook it so i figured it was OK.

The car ran fine until this past weekend when I drove it hard and it blew the dipstick out again. What is wrong with this thing. Do I need to replace the PCV valve or am i missing something?

Any thoughts or experiences would be great.

 

Sounds like it may be excessive blowby, pressuring the crankcase. Pull the oil fill cap off an feel feel/listen for air "chuffing" out of the oil fill tube.

 

I just tried that and it didnt seem like there was anything out of the ordinary.

ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS???

Did you check the top of the throttle body for oil buildup?
