A friend of mine has a 96 ram air FB. He just purchased a 9lb ATI P1SC, long tubes, off road Y-pipe, and 42# injectors. What else will he need to make this work?

1. Will the stock mass air work or will he need a new blow thrue?
2. Who is the best company to re-program his computer for the 42's?

If the motor is stock, he does'nt need that big of an injector. If he plans on modifying it further, they are a damn good injector. Ed wright or pcmforless do good mail order tunes. Best to get it dyno tuned though. As for the maf, I'm running 12#'s on mine with no problems. Its stock.

 

I'm sure there are many guys here who can provide a complete list. Tou probably want to ask in the forced induction section...

Fuel pump comes to mind, along with a 12 bolt, 5-point harness and driveshaft loop.

 

Yah I tried to tell him about the 42's. He bought them and thinks he HAS TO USE them. I wonder if a good tuner can make them work or if they will slow him down???

A good tuner will definetly be able to make them work. You can always tune down those injectors.
