Blowby

Ok so i think ive narrowed my problem to blowby.

The car idles REALLY rough and it sounds like air is being pumped through dry cylinders. The engine is sparking like it should, so i dont think its ignition related.

My instincts lead to blowby because i hear ALOT of noise comming from the PCV area which leads me to think there is alot of crankcase pressure.

I already replaced the PCV valve.

How would i test this and fix this?

Thanks Alot
Stu

Use a manometer to check crankcase vacuum level. Pay attention to the instructions and the chart for each engine. If the vacuum level is low, then go with a leak down tester.
