Is this block Toast? water damage...

Long story short... My engine took a dump and i got another one. I did some inspecting and found out a cylinder had a little bit of water. Turns out it went in through a exhaust port into the cylinder. I did some cleaning and Here's the damage...

Depending on how deep it is, it should be easily cleaned up with a bore.

It's deep enough to get a nail stuck. So if I were to put a good set of heads that i have Do u think it would hold compression? I don't want to take it to a machine shop.

Absolutely not. That will wreak havoc on the rings. The block is toast as-is, but it can be fixed.

Why don't you want to take it to a machine shop? It won't cost more than a few hundred to have it bored out and cleaned up.
