I've finally made up my mind to buy another block and piece together a new engine for my car. I've been searching for blocks and found one out of a 1994 impala.

were there any differences between 1994 impala LT1 blocks and 1994 firebird LT1 blocks? I know the heads are iron on the impala and aluminum on f-bodies, but wasn't too sure about the blocks.

 

I'm almost positive that they are the same

 

Just make sure its 5.7 not the 'baby LT1'[I am not that familiar with Impalas, but I do know that there is a 'baby LT1' that came in some cars]
Look for '327' on the side of the block to make sure it's a 5.7
other than that same block yes..
