So I was changing coolant today, and had no problem removing the drain plug in driver side... except the unexpected stream of coolant right on me

But trying to put it back was a pita, I inspected the threads on the block hole, they looked ok. The plug itself didnt look too good, so after some time I gave up... Went to 2 local chain part stores, they had no clue... Tried 2 GM dealers, out of stock... it's a disaster once it comes to finding parts here

So I am wondering where can I get one online, perhaps some sort of valve/plug for easier flush in the future. Or something like this was posted in another thread



I just need to get something to plug that hole... Thanks guys!

 

I think they are just 1/4" pipe thread. Should find one at any hardware store.
