I have a 1995 Z28 with 90k miles on it. I drove my car to school today just fine, parked it, came back out about 30 minutes later and the blasted thing won't start! It just turns over and over but won't catch. Any idea of what I should check first? I KNOW my MAF is bad b/c I got an SES about a week ago and scanned it and that's the code that came up. Could that be the problem? The SES wasn't on before and doesn't come on now when I try to start the car.
Any and all ideas welcome! This is my only mode of transportation and I need it avaliable to me!

 

could ba a lot of things but highly doubt its the MAF. If anything the car would just run a lil crappy. First thing I would do is check if you got a spark. If you do got one then check to see if you are actually getting gas to the intake.

I second the fuel system. My car did that very same thing
when I shut it off to check the air in the tires. It wouldn't
fire for anything when I went to leave, and it turned out to
be the fuel pump. If the ignition is working ok, get down under the back of the car and have someone turn the key to the
ON position. You should be able to hear the pump come on
to pressurize the system.
