Blasted hub/belts
Blasted hub/belts
Ok, I'm getting really frustrated with my car. When I blew a head gasket over a month ago, I installed a new cam and a double roller timing set (I already have an electric water pump).
So, when I put on the stock hub, the crank pulley was too far in and it shredded the belts on the side that faces the nose of the car (stock belt and my supercharger belt). Ok, so I just got my new pre 96 hub which is longer since there wasn't a reluctor ring. I installed it (I know it's pressed all the way in because I snapped a piece of all thread while installing it). Now the accessory belt is trying to walk off the pulleys towards the engine. This thing is trying to drive me nuts. What do I do now?
