But what you said has no merit. Given the exact same RWHP at any time, and similar effiency, the car producing more HP at the motor is going to accelerate faster. IE: The car in its powerband is going to accelerate faster, regardless of whether or not the two cars are at the same RWHP for a fraction of a second. Everything you have said in this thread is bad information.

If one car is producing more engine horsepower than the other, and the same rwhp, they do NOT have the same efficiency. So how can you say, "given the same efficiency and rwhp, the one with more engine HP accelerates quicker".

Then they DONT have the same effiency. Sure. But that was simply hypothetical, that will almost never be the case. And even if they didnt have the same efficiency, the one that was less efficient would ALWAYS be faster then the other, because the increased HP produced by accelerating in the powerband, as opposed to having a huge shift extension would instantly overcome the effiency deficit.

If I do get a cam, maybe a cc305 or Hot Cam, what else would I need to get to perform the swap?
