Big Problems On Rebuild!
Okay so here it is, i have just finished the rebuild on my 95 chevy camaro z28 and we started it up today and tried to drive it for the first time. and here is whats up, when you go in forward or reverse it kinda dies but not quite and it runs really low oil preasure like under 20 even though it has a melling high volume oil pump and its making some noise ,tuck, tick, tick i think one sound is the rockers need tightened but there is also some louder noise coming from somewhere also its bored 30 over new pistions rings bearings, crank, timing, .495 gm cam, accel coil, opti, 10.4 wires. water left alone seems fine, steel oil pump shaft, heads redone, with bigger stainless steel valves, orignal springs, (alm heads)
If you started it cold your oil pressure should be 3/4 of the way on the gauge. I say you have a problem. There should be hours of reading and many things it could be. Ive seen where the oil pickup was up against the pan causing low pressure.

I do not know when the stock springs bind but seeing as you are over what a stock cam is with 1.6s I have to think you are approaching bind and are definetely asking more of those springs than they are capable of.
I also wonder if the rockers are already overtightened, that can cause the near stalling, if so that would just compound issues.
An oil pressure problem on initial startup I would worry about all the appropriate galley plugs being installed right.
