Big block hood, but not functional...

Im interested in getting a big block hood, but i have yet to see a kit for them and, what can i do to make it functional

Well.. guess what? You will need a big block to make it functional!

well i mean cant u put a intake under the opening like all the other hoods?

Unless you had an Ultra-Z hood where you could use a lid like LS1s do, I wouldn't worry about it. Even some SS guys switch to regular cold air induction kits... but on a cowl induction hood, the airflow couldn't be forced in to actually make a difference. It's more for looks that anything else. Some people convert to carbs and have to use a taller hood because of the distributor, but other than that, I see no point in it. I actually think it's ugly and it also obstructs the already limited driving view....

Yes you might be able to do it but I don,t think it would be worth the hassle.
You would have to do some convoluted wrap around kinda thing ala SS. It would not be a straight shot like the WS6 is.
