You guys are not going to believe this. I just bought some BFG KDWs and they have the high speed semi-symmetrical look. Ok. Then I am looking on the website for both BFG and the tire store and see a completely different tire. Wierd tread pattern etc called a KDW. Walk out to the car..says KDW. Ad in CHP this month shows same weird tread as KDW. OK, did I get sold discontinued tires? Call BFG and they explain to me that they run two lines of KDWs the traditional tread like I have and one to appeal to "import tuners." I said "you mean ricers." He: "Er, uhm we prefer to call them import tuners." Me: Well since they are $50 more I think you guys definitely know your marketing. LOL

 

Yeah I know exactly what you are talking about. Originally when that new tread came out they called it the KDW II but now it's on their site as the KDW... I got worried I wouldn't be able to get the old design but I'm glad to hear they still sell it. Don't want damn ricer tires
