what is the cheapest you all have found on a new set of BFG drag radail 255/50/16?
i just bought a set at Sams Club
for $126 each, and only $9 each for mount/balance/road hazard.
thats $270 mounted and balanced.

My local Sams has the same price. My cousin's wife is also a manager there so I think I may be able to score a discount.

That's probably some sort of insurance they sell in case you get stuck on the road with a blown tire you bought from them. I think they'll tow you for free and replace the tire. Depends on the place you buy it from. (different policies)

Now to get back on topic... QCKZ28, I have a Sam's Club near me, but I've never shopped there. Do you need like a special membership or something? The price definetely sounds good. Let's just hope they have some 275/40/17s....

road hazard/protection= they will replace or repair your tire FREE if it ruptures/gets punctured/have a flat,etc. for a certain number of miles.

madwolf, yes it a "members only" place. i dont know how much it cost, my wifes grandmother has a membership there, and we go with her
walmart should be able to get them.....and you dont have to pay shipping/handling (at least i didnt at sams club) walmart and sams club are owned by the same people. it would be worth a shot.

Yea, I get tires from Walmart for all my other cars... but they won't install a 40 profile tire.
Hope they can at least get them for me...

i went down to the local "farm bureau" (hillbilly gas/tire station) to get my dry rotted tires off my salad shooters, and they told me they wouldnt DARE touch those wide tires, because their machine couldnt handle a 16X8 wheel
i took it across town and had it done for the same price $3 each
(dismount only)
