They hook better than Nitto's, but the streetability isn't as good. They also wear out alot faster. Mine should be here at the end of the week, for track only use.

I think he means they are bad on the street if its raining out, snow on the ground, or driving on gravel/dirt. Just regular street driving on dry pavement they should hook pretty well. I'm not exactly sure how long they last but I've heard from 3-5000 miles.

I've used the BFGs for a long time with no complaints...I even drove from Daytona Beach Florida to Pennsylvania with no handling probs...They are only good for about 4000-5000 miles...less if you have a line lock...60 foot times always in the 1.70's some in the 1.60s...

bfg's compound is softer (treadwear 0) compared to nittos harder compound (treadwear 100) so the BFGs will last no more than 5K if ure lucky... avg is 3K... but they hook great! also bad on the rain (so are nittos tho)

nittos are a bit harder, but sticky enough (treadwear 100 compared to a streettire's 200-400) they will last about 10K

BFGs are really good DRs. DO NOT drive fast with them in the rain, in fact try to avoid driving with DRs in the rain if possible. Other than that they dont wear too fast, although my DRs arent my daily driving tires, my KDWSs are. Other than knowing every single time theres small rocks on the road and picking them out of the tire, you should enjoy BFG drag radials very much.
