Which is better H or I beam rods?

Within the next few months I will be rebuilding my motor. I'll be ordering most if not all of the parts needed form cmotorsports. Right now I'm thinking about their $1749 383 stroker kit. Only question I have is about rods, should I go with the Eagle H beam or some sort of I beam rod? Thanks for any light you guys can shed on the situation.

Did you have to go with an aftermarket oil pan? I was already thinking about doing this anyway because I would like to have the extra oil capacity.

There are good (and bad, and indifferent) rods of each type. Impossible to generalize. FWIW, F1 is the pinnacle of automotive engine tech and the last picture of an F1 rod I saw, it was an I-beam type configuration, FWIW. I have used both with good results.

I-Beam gives a little more clearance if youre really stroking it out. My engine builder had me go with I-Beams with my 396. Said H-Beams would be cool with a 383, but to go I-Beams with the 396. Went with the 5.85 Lunati Pro Mods.
