Best way to polish Intake, TB, Alt??

Im going to try and clean up my engine bay and my Intake, TB and Alternator could all use some shinning up. Should I use a dremel and wire brush, Fine grit sand paper...etc? Im planning on attempting the Intake with it still on the engine, but will remove the TB and Alt.
