Best way to flush coolant

Hey Guys:

What is the best way to flush the coolant and get all that gunk out. I have changed my coolant twice in the past 5 years but am disappointed. I had to change me coolant level sensore and re/re my throtle body and was disturbed by the amount of grud in the system. How do I really get at that stuff?

I have seen Shoebox's steps of draining, but what about cleaning?

Thanks,

Asim

i just did mine yesterday i had some dirty coolant but that was pretty much it, no gunks of stuff or globs of it just needed to be changed. i used prestone radiator flush to help some and i flushed it several times. if you have changed it twice in the past 5 years u might be due for another so go ahead and keep flushing until its clean like you like. u can also get the prestone radiator super cleaner or something and that is soupposed to remove old deposits (gunk) and also scala in the radiator. u have to run that in your car for a few hours to get it fully in your whole system then just drain, flush, and refill it. make sure you flush the reservoir also. mine was filthy had tons of gunk that was brown and nasty. now i have perfect nice clean green coolant in it as well as the radiator, and block.
