Best way to clock water pump oil cooler elbow on w-pump?

I don't think applying heat would be of any use. I repositioned mine to pointing about straight down. I checked and found one of my long barrel 1/4 sockets was an almost perfect fit into the tube and was long enough to go up to the bend. It might have been an 11/32 socket. I used an adapter from 1/4 to 3/8 on the socket and a long 3/8 extension to turn it because the 1/4 extension was bending so much. It takes more force than you might expect. The long socket is to keep from putting a kink in the tube or distorting the end of it. I've never had a leak from it after doing this.
