Re: best way to add 50hp?

I think a tune with 3:73 gears will hold me for a while, as of now the engine runs very strong. Maybe one day i will pull the motor, build it up and the tranny, do headers and other stuff.

well doing that wont really give you more power, just more torque. At least get headers. 3.73's will just make you loose gas mileage and you wont be happy with the up top power

I didn't see if you said what kind of transmission you had. If you have an auto then a good size stall will keep you from being bored. Gears will make you feel faster, unless you're running a cam with some high rpm, I'd leave em alone.

Exhaust is the best place to start. Do a search, that will really help you figure out what setup.

Roller rockers are also effective and cheap.

You're car isn't running hot, so thermostat would just be a peice of mind mod if you think that you need it, search this also. Tuning is required to get the best of this. But it is cheap. Maybe get a electric water pump.

TB air foil is junk, do not waste your money! A bigger throttle body may help, but I would save it til you have all other bolt ons.

Free mods help in theory and they're free.
