Best tires for <100/each

My tires are ****ty as hell, I just need some cheap ones that will stick good enough for the street and the track

Basically, a tire like Kumho Ecsta 711, that only cost $84 a tire, are they any good?

i've got the 711's on my car. I've never had any other tire to compare with but I like them. I rearly get tire squeal on hard turns, and its hard to chirp them when I give it gas, but when traction isnt there, boy do they smoke

I just had a set of the Kumho 712's from Tirerack installed a few weeks ago. So far, for the $$, I'd say it's a pretty damn good tire. Even in the rain!

I like the Khumos too, they handle everything I throw at them.

100 bucks wont really get you a tire thats good for the street or the track. Not sure what to tell you, The main problem would probably be getting a tire for that price that gripping hard in the rain. I remember when i had the Futuras on the rear of my car, and the compound of the tire was so hard, they just didnt stick or hook at all ever. I would say maybe a Potenza, if you can nab those for around 100 bucks a tire.

These 711's have a UTQG rating of 340... and compared to my 420 rated tires that cost me over $120 each with hardly any good track traction. I'd expect the 711's to stick better, plus they're cheaper
