BEST Spark Plugs

I always see the NGK TR55s... but there has to be something better. It's for a VRE 383 with LE3 package. 11.9:1 sce. There has to be something better!! I was told to get the NGK R5671 A7s, but they don't make them anymore. Summit also told me that the NGK 4091s won't fit our cars?

Re: BEST Spark Plugs

Go with Lloyd' recommendation - the 4091's. I think Lloyd might know just a little bit more about LT1's than Summit.

They don't make them? I can get them through NAPA and Advance Auto... (4091 / R5671-A7)

Re: BEST Spark Plugs

A spark plug is a spark plug. If it fires then thats about all you can really ask for. Only things you should have to worry about are getting the correct heat range for your app and finding short plugs that allow extra breathing room around headers.

But for me I just want something that last a long time b/c changing spark plugs is far from enjoyable.

Before I decided to do the s/c and not the heads/cam from Lloyd, he told me to go with the ngk 4091's, and that they were a very good plug. My $.02

Re: BEST Spark Plugs

I asked because I couldn't get in touch with Lloyd to ask him a question. Advanced and Autozone both said they have no idea about it and Summit said EHHH... won't fit.

I called up Lloyd and he said don't listen to them and it'll fit. So I bought them. haha
