What were you using before the Autolites?

I assume you have them gapped pretty small with the power you're putting down.

I've always ran AC Delco's, but have a set of Bosch's in there. We'll see how they do.

I also run Autolite 103's in my camaro. Never had a problem.

One of my friends put a set of NGK's in his 95 M6. The car then started having this miss/stumple above 4000. He changed them out for a set of delco's car ran fine. Now Ive run nothing but NGK's in the Typhoon. It absolutly loves them. Runs, idles, drives better than the stock delcos. So what does this mean? I dont know maybe LT1's just dont like NGK's.

Were they gapped to 0.050 in the LT1? I found that out of the box, the NGK's were gapped to 0.060" which could cause the stumbling/missing at higher RPM.

Well, Last time I checked everyone on this board praised NGK, so I bought some. Well ever since then my car has not run correctly consistantly. Every couple weeks the car acts up and its the plugs each time.

Get Autolite or AC Delco.

Question

My question exactly where can you order 103's online from? I've used TR55's and TR5's w/out any problems in my 396 for the last 3 yrs. Melted a electrode on a pair of AC delco's though. Might've just been a bad batch of plugs.

I have the NGKs in my car right now. A few days ago I parked in the morning and when I started her back again at night... Bam.. horribly rough and popping through the tail pipes.

She was running soo smooth in the morning and then soo rough at night. I am going to change spark plugs and wires . I dont know if its the NGKs or what. They have been in my car for about 3 months and only driven about 2k miles if not less.

If I find something wrong with the NGKs and or the wires I will post it here. I think I should be calling whats his name for a new opty but I will do the wires first just in case.
