I couldn't agree more. For half the price of a borla, it is awesome. Sounds deep and looks good. Also has almost as much horse power as a cutout, within 1 hp I heard.

I like mine, hehe. It cost me under $300 for the parts and labor to have it installed and welded together. I bought the bends and mufflers and the muffler guy welded them up. Soundclips in sig.

I had the 2OTL and liked the way it sounded, but hated the fact that it looked gay wiht the outlets on the one side like that.
So I went with the Magnaflow, sounds are pretty close, a little deeper wiht the magnaflow, but at cruzing speed it was quiter in the cabin, but WOT she sounds great, nice and deep and loud, and still refined like the 2OTL was.

had the american thunder for 4 years, really didnt like the sound especially after the header sans cat install. Replaced it with the SLP TOTL (2 on the left) and am very happy with the sound and believe it or not the looks too. I tend to go for functional rather than looks. The slp flows better (my opinion only) since it is a straight through design as opposed to the dual setups where something like half of the exhaust makes a 180 degree turn to the other pipe. I know this isn't true for the Borlas, but that's just my take on things...

Added benefit, if you live in the north, stainless steel is great! The flowmaster rusted out in 3 years (to be expected though).

The tips are not part of the tail pipes. They are clamped on. They can easily be polished up like you said or you can just buy another pair and clamp them on. Or you can buy their optional oval tips. I have the oval tips from GMMG and think they look much better than the standard slash cut tips.
