Best/safest way to clean O2 sensors?

Subject sez it all. Mine are looking a little too black for my tastes, and I'd like to clean them up. Thanks.

You can't clean them, you have to buy new ones. The receptive end of the 02 is made of some type of metal that if you use cleaners or wipe them off you will damage it.
