Best place to get a water pump??

Replacing my opti and was going to replace the water pump while I had it off.

Where is the best place to get one? Is the Auto Zone pump with the lifetime warranty any good?

I would rather replace it with a regular water pump.

139 + actual shipping for new GM from Jason Cromer..
I wouldn't buy a remanufactured WP for an LT1..

I got a brand new one at Autozone at it works great. The employee discount helps out though too.

Re: Best place to get a water pump??

i got a reman on ebay for 71 shipped. it was a great deal. the part was rust proofed, super clean with hi po bearings and new seals. i decided to change my opti at the same time also. i reused my cap and rotor and i had some problems taking apart the opti because its held together with torx screws. i went to like 7 diff stored to find the right socket. also do yourself a favor and TAG YOUR PLUG WIRES. i didn't think i would have to because the separators line them up for you but i could have saved myself alot of time if i did. I found my opti @ autopartsgiant.com They have some good deals i would check them for anything in the future.
