best place to buy CC305 kit

Hi,

I would know where to buy for best price a CC305 cam + 1.6 RR + beehive 918 spring + pushrod + what necessary for installation at best price. I use to go SUMMIT but the comp cams parts are very more expensive than the hot cam kit with them. Any suggestions of place that can offer me a cam kit like i want for a good price ?

Pierre

Why not buy the hotcam kit? Comes with everything you need and it'll be cheaper than piecing it together with a cc305. Plus, I'm partial to the hotcam. When I had a hotcam, there wasn't a cc305 around that could touch me.

I bought the Hotcam kit but didnt use the cam(wish I did)because I had trouble removing the Harmonic balancer and was short on time. The hotcam kit comes with alot of stuff you need. I bought CC roller lifters and CC hardened pushrods to go with it and I did the vavle seals while I was at it. I used everything but the cam

Why not call up Advanced Induction and get one of their grinds as a complete kit? Remove all the guesswork and get a cam suited to your set up.

Their 'shelf' offerings work pretty well too. Can't hurt to call and talk.

Don't know what you're talking about here, but a CC305 has proven to provide more torque and better HP across the whole band vs. the hotcam (not much but some). Might have been racing guys with stock cams -

call shon and have him put together a AI custom package. Best power, driveability, cost/benefit, etc.

Or get s xe 224/230 (cc503) and the valvetrain parts.
