best opti replacement?

short of retro fitting to the delteq, what do you guys recomend for opti replacement?

msd? jegs? gm opti?

ive been checking out the pro billet from msd, and while very pricy, it seems to be the best!

the cheaper msd opti replacements look pretty good, but not as good as the pro billet, but they are also nearly 350$ cheaper!

whats anybody running and what do you all recomend?

Re: best opti replacement?

I have the accel opti. It does it's job just as the factory opti did. No noticable difference in performance. Hopefully it lasts longer than the factory opti did.

The stock one is pretty hit or miss. You can always change over the vented style. The stock replacement has a one yr. warranty so within that one yr if it goes out it wont cost you the full price to get a new one.

The MSD opti is pretty good seeing you can replace the rotor and cap. I havnt had my LT1 for about 7 months since swiching from LT1 to LS1 but I got all my part through Jason Cromer. I dont know if he still works in Florida or not but he had darn good pricing.

If I were in your position I would just do the stocker. If not then the MSD but its all up to your taste.
