best longtubes on stock

i just wanted to know what people think are the best longtubes and y-pipe are out there for a pretty much close to bone stock z28. i want stuff that will fit right in place and a y pipe that will weld right to my cat. with this will i probably have to trim the y pipe or headers to fit and if so will that be all that i would have to do?

thank you

Why run a cat at all?

I'm sure you could put it right after the ORY and then trim the I-pipe to fit it

hooker longtubes. somebody out there makes a catted y pipe(mufflex, i think), if you are stock now, you should have 2 cats, BTW.

Jet Hot coated hooker long tubes & Y-pipe fit like a glove and leave you with plenty of ground clearance for that future 1' drop

Guys, remember this is a 16 year old (look in sig.) and his budget isn't what adults is. I suggest he go with pacesetter long tubes simply because they are well reccommended and the price is under 300 dollars. I wouldn't wast my money on a y-pipe when most muffler shops with a welder can fix you right up anyway. Reason I say that is because I had to replace my stock cat back and there wasn't a oem piece in the shop so they made me one out of 3 " material.

Kook's stepped headers on nothing short of a stout setup....that is funny.

How about you save a few bucks and just get something more useful?

Look in the used section...you can pickup some Hooker LT's coated for $300 once in a while.
