I was running G/M gaskets and it appears that oil was getting into the ports. There was oil pooled between the gaskets and the heads, but the intake side was dry? ? There wasnt many miles 4k or so and I torqued them to spec. It also was only a few ports too boot.


So what else dose everyone use?

Been using Fel-Pro 1284's and I like them.

On another note, have you addressed why the oil was getting into the ports?? Did you have your heads milled at any point??

Nah these are stockers. So I have no clue. The only differance is that these heads are 562 castings. So I dont know if my 93 intake is the prob.

I was just thinking of going with a thicker gasket
