best heads out there....

Well i have no changed my plans and have decided to go all out on ym truck. So instead of the fancy wheels or anything i will now be going for speed. The truck will already be equipped with 233/239 cam, 1.6 rockers, 3.73 gears, Cloyes true double roller,
Meizere water pump, Posi. Now i want to do Heads and get a nice Tourqe Converter. What type of stall should i get. I was thinking of going with a 3000 what do you guys think. Now heads im clueless. ive talked to Lloyd a couple of times but havent really got in depth about it. my goal is to hit 400 RWHP. Any suggestions.

People with loid's heads on here have been able to hit the 400rwhp mark. But I think one of the biggest factors along with his heads will be the tune. A good dynotune by a good shop or someone who knows out motors will get the best results with that head and cam combo. I think he does tunes too now. But I dont know if he could even crank out the same #'s with his tuning as a dynotune.

Ai, Loid Elliot, AFR, and other head porters can get you 400rwhp. But the tune is key to all of it.

Madwolf is great from what I hear on this board.

When I was droping my car off there for my LT intall. They had that bad *** low 9 second LT1 camaro parked across the street. Well they fired that bad boy up and parked it into the garage, that thing was rumblig the building lol.

They got a vid of it on their site.

Yeah like everyone said, but you would be lucky to do it with a mail order tune. I'm sure you could get 10-15 shy of your mark though. (with a mailorder tune)

what kind of tune do you guys suggest then? A dyno tune?

I was also looking into AI's heads. There econo port they say can get you around 440 SAE corrected.
