Wich heads/cam upgrade setup do you recommend to a stock lt1 camaro? Mabye I will buy headers to it as well, how big hp gain have you achieved while doing this as first mod? For a street car that wants more performance. Is there cam/heads kits that are good and not to expensive?

 

Not worth dumping a penny into the engine until you have the support for it. Headers, catback(or cutout), CAI, gears/stall(if A4) etc

 

exactly right, buy a good set of edelbrock or MAC headers and a cutout and then worry about doing the heads and cam

 

Hey TexasTechta, that cam isn't going like those gears too much. Post times when you get them, cuz I'm running almost the same setup (camkit, headers,etc.). Hotcam kit is always a good budget cam to go with. Piece kits together, and it can get pricey, especially with buying heads too.
