Best gears to get??

I'm looking to replace my stock gears and am wondering what the best gear ratio would be. I have a 93 Z28 with an automatic. I am between 3.73's and 4.10's...Lemme know what you suggest

stick with the 3.73s.....4.10s would be a bit much in an a4. i've tried three different sets: Motive, Richmond and Genuine GM and I like the GMs the best by far. they are dead silent.

i remember reading this but i believe there are two different kinds of motive gears. something to the effect that genuine gms are different. i'm not positive though.

Well if you have 3.23 already 3.42 wouldn't be worth the effort,I had both I would recommend the 3.73 over the 4.10 plus make first and second gears pretty much useless can you say no traction does good burnouts though and stop light to stoplight its a blast if you dont burn rubber

i would recomend t 3.73's for you. The 4.10's would be to much for your a4 like other people have also said.

3.73's are what you want...they will keep you in 3rd gear at the end of the 1/4 mile...4.10's will have you shifting into o/d wich is in no way what you want. ..hope this helps
