Ok well i was originally going to go with a 2.5 inch true dual exhuast going into 2 flowmaster 50 series muffler 2.5 inch in and 3 inch out. I searched for the hell of it and most posts said stay away from flowmasters. Any reasoning behind this? Also will you guys reccomend a exhaust setup for me. keep in mind no catbacks will work on my truck.

12secdz went 12.25 with a flowmaster muffler, so they can't be too bad.

He went 12.05 with the cutout open this weekend, so there wasn't a huge difference.

No one has ever showed dyno proof that flowmasters suck, besides every Mustang owner uses them.

Go with a dual 3" inch set up. Get some long tubes with a 3" collector and just extend that big bad boy out.

 

Flowmasters have a sweet sound in my opinion, heard a lot about them causing loss of power, but I have no complaints with mine. On my truck I ran a true dual system 2.5 running through 24 inch glasspacks and I loved the way it sounded.

 

i really dont want LOUD though i kinda want a throaty sound when im on it but quiet with normal driving. I also want the best flowing out there. What does everyone think about borla?
