haha man you shoulda seen my face when i went to clean the filter and it wasnt on... that reminds me i should go check it again..

I have a K&N as well. I bought another clamp to make sure the filter doesn't fall off like others said. If you get them used, you can get them for a pretty good price (mine was $100 shipped). I may be going back to the ram air setup though.

I got mine from NASA







(ebay bought intake, K&N filter, wrapped in heat shield for maximum cooling, filter protected from any engine heat, and scoop provides cool air)

and yes I already know you hate it. Just my $.02

Pretty much get the cheapest one. They all do the same. I had a Moroso on mine but sold it for 75 bucks when I got the factory ram air box on my car with the Factory ram air hood.
