Question Best clutch ??

Which is the best clutch for a 97 SS Camaro? I had the centerforce that was a waste of time and money!!!! Car is mostly stock has computer reprogrammer, 160 degree thermostat, borla cat back, air foil and an underdrive pulley and is lowered 2in. I plan on adding a throttle body and fuel regulator. I was looking at the spec stage 3..... anyone have it? If so, how good is it?

thanks
Al

My Spec Stage II is holding up sweet. There's a guy im my club that is running 10's on a Stage II, and he sprays quite a bit so I know mine will be good for a long while...

On a mostly stock car I'd say SLP...I know thats what I'm gonna buy come clutch buying time...I've heard too many horror stories from the specs.

Street Twin

Do it right and put in a street twin. If you are like most the guys on hear just do it right and put in a street twin because youll need it eventually.

You'll never have to worry about your clutch ever again if you just take your time on the install. When you want to beat that car this clutch will take any f*&)ing thing your car can throw at it. As a matter of fact it will probalby make your freakin teeth rattle if you f&^k with it an drop it.

I'm not exaggerating here. Any engineers here know that coefficient of friction-surface area- and compressive force =clamp and you've got twice the surface area and some pretty serious force.

Just ask my ten bolt

Street Twin. Although it may be too much clutch for your application. If it was me, Street Twin, regardless.
