Best cam specs for a LT1 M6 for NA/N20 custom grind?

We are looking to figure out what would be the best cam specs for a 1996 LT1 M6 car with the desire to have good gains over the HOT Cam thats in there now with the following mods.

LT4intake,Hooker LT's, 4in Ypipe, cutout, MSD ignition,NXwet kit, 3.73 gears, Ram Air, Ported MAF, MAFT, 58MM TB, 1.6 roller rockers, your usual bolt ons and had a HOT CAM and aftermarket springs.

Now he wants to step up to the 150shot and go for a cam that will get some good gains over that GM hot cam. We are looking around and not finding alot of cam choices for the stock headed LT1 that wants good gains with over the previous cam NA and on N20. Car puts down 352RWHP and 359RWTQ NA and 450RWHP and 487RWTQ on the 100shot.

He would like an idea of doing a custom ground cam that would work well, and be streetable. Fuel economy who cares, loud who cares. Would like an approx 6300-6600RPM Peak,

Guys would be suprised what a big LSA cam will do on N2O in this duration level. When you get into large duration cams that's when the larger LSA helps.

The right nitrous cam will be worth about 35-40hp over the Hot Cam on the bottle and about 25hp off the bottle.

The right N2O cam will not be the best cam for a NA motor.

I'll have to check them out seems they have some nice grinds there.

Someone school me a little bit and tell me this on cams.

I understand lift and Lobe seperation ok.

Duration i'm a little fuzzy on. Why a higher or lower duration and whats this doing??? Thanks for throwing a few syllables out there for the greater part of my stupidity.LOL!
